A Sicilian cheese made using pasteurized sheep's milk. The cheese has an elastic and compact texture, with a straw-yellow colour, with reddish marks due to the addition of the chilli. Offers medium intensity scents of dry hay, a strong and spicy flavour, perfect for lovers of chilli. Excellent when used in the kitchen to enhance the flavour of salads or soups.

 

INGREDIENTS: sheep's milk, cow's milk, chilli, rennet, lactic cultures.

TYPE OF MILK: sheep's milk and cow's milk.

MILK TREATMENT: pasteurized.

RIPENING: minimum 4 months.

AVAILABILITY: from October to June.
